You are probably wondering why I called this the HoLeY Cap!! I didn't actually come up with that name, It was my funny brothers. I was looking at the mirror wearing the cap and suddenly one of them came up from behind and said "WoW a Holey Cap... So many holes, how are you supposed to keep your head warm in that??" hahahahah! It's too hot here in Malaysia to keep your head warm. Right??? Don't know why we need caps to keep our heads warm here...
Here is the cap! Not as many holes as my brother said it had! I think it is pretty funny because orange+maroon... What a bad color match!!! Outch! Some of the pictures down there don't reflect the real true colors of the cap.
Lighting I guess... hmm... let me check out some other names to call this cap. For now let it be ThE HoLeY CaP!!
I got the idea for the design from one of my crochet magazines. It had this amazing stitch technique page that teaches how to do stitches and they broke it down to a whole lot of categories, From JANUARY to DECEMBER.
There was this stitch technique that I really liked,can't remember which month it was from but it did state there that it was perfect for caps and tops.
I decided to try it out and this is what it turned out like. :)
I have to really learn how to put colors together properly so I get better results. Maybe some of you can give suggestions!
Okay.... let's leave the naming thing for now...
