BUTTONS OR ZIPPER

I Just finished making the baby sweater I was working on a few weeks back. I just can't make up my mind whether to use BUTTONS or a ZIP on the front of the sweater. On the original pattern they used a ZIP... I haven't bought any ZIP's yet but I have a few black buttons I bought for some baby shoe orders previously and the sweater actually looked quite nice with the buttons. I wish I could post the photos but I left the files at home. I will upload them later in the evening.Right now I need all the suggestions I can get.
