The Hat in the making updates

The Beginning of the  Hat project...

             Harlow People!!!!! Wow! Such a busy week for me... I had a few problems with the local courier services that caused a whole lot of delay for me and my orders... Here is one of the orders that I managed to start and hope to finish so I can send it off by Monday. That is if I get all the payments sorted out and I am sure not using the local POS LAJU services anymore... This means I think I have to change my whole pricing for the items. I don't want to have any problems with mu future orders. It's really annoying when they have already promised the next day delivery but I had to wait for 5 days to get my stuff... I thought I would support our local services and be proud of it as Malaysians... But it was the biggest dissappointment. Paying for something that wasn't up to its standards. I'd rather pay more... Don't you think?

The Wording as per request

        Well, back to the order... This hat is for my good friend Hari, we used to work together at Salmat few years back. He ordered the hat and requested I knit this wording HARVIT. I'm not quite sure if it really reads as HARVIT it looks more like MARVIT... hehehehe... I might ask his opinion on this later on before I do the 2nd one for the front of the cap. I actually did a mistake and accidentally stitched the name patch on the inside of the hat. I didn't realize this untill I had already made the cap half way through. The frustration!!!!

Here is the Close up of the first few rows of the hat... kinda messy but I guess it'll get neater along the way. The hat is in 2 colours as you can see on the pictures on the bottom of this post. I used 6mm circular knitting needles and 100% acrylic yarn. I held 2 strands together to get the correct gauge for this hat.

I love the colour effect from the ladder pattern. Hope I can get this done by the end of today.
